JPT believes that a strong manufacturing community in Michigan starts
with investing in the next generation of skilled workers. For over 30 years, Joint
Production Technology has partnered with local schools, industry associations, and
educational programs to bring real-world manufacturing experience to students and families
in Macomb County. Our commitment to the manufacturing community in Michigan reflects the
same values that have guided JPT since 1971 — precision, craftsmanship, and a belief
that manufacturing excellence is built one skilled person at a time.
Integration 2000 — Malow Junior High

Since 1994, JPT has hosted the annual Malow Junior High Open House, welcoming Engineering
Drawing students and their parents to our Macomb Michigan facility. Through the Integration
2000 program, students see their own drawings come to life on our shop floor. Integration
2000 represents a philosophy that connects classroom education directly with industry —
giving students hands-on experience with the latest manufacturing technology in a real
production environment.
The program has grown significantly over the years. What began as a single classroom
visit has expanded to an annual open house that brings dozens of students and their
families through JPT’s facility. Students who participate in Integration 2000 leave
with a concrete understanding of how precision manufacturing works — how a drawing
becomes a physical part, how CNC machines operate, and what a career in manufacturing
actually looks like from the inside.

JPT Engineering Manager Mr. David Gifford has guided students and parents through
our tooling operations, explaining how precision cutting tools are designed and
manufactured. These visits have expanded the classroom by hundreds of thousands of
square feet, exposing students to CNC machining, EDM, grinding, and more. The goal
is straightforward: make manufacturing real for young people before they make
their career decisions.
Industry Associations — Michigan Manufacturing Community

JPT is a proud member of the Tooling, Manufacturing & Technologies Association (TMTA),
a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and protecting the interests of the
manufacturing industry. Through TMTA membership JPT stays connected to industry
developments, competitive practices, and the broader manufacturing community in
Michigan and across North America.
Additional Educational Partners
JPT also partners with Oakland Community College and Kensington to support manufacturing
education and workforce development in Macomb Michigan. These partnerships give students
access to real tooling applications and professional mentorship from JPT’s engineering
team — connecting classroom instruction directly to the precision machining industry
that drives the Michigan economy.
Building the Future of Manufacturing in Michigan
JPT’s community involvement reflects our commitment to manufacturing excellence — not
just in our own facility but across the region. The Michigan manufacturing community
depends on a pipeline of skilled engineers, machinists, and technicians who understand
precision manufacturing from the ground up. JPT plays a small but consistent role in
building that pipeline, one open house at a time.
We are proud to call Macomb Michigan home and to play a role in building its
manufacturing future. Manufacturers, educators, and industry organizations interested
in connecting with JPT can find additional resources through the
Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME)
and explore government manufacturing resources at
SAM.gov.

The JPT Difference
Have a new project or tooling challenge? Let’s talk. Our team is ready to help you find the most cost-effective solution for your specific application.
The JPT Way
Most tooling problems aren’t solved by buying off the shelf. They’re solved by understanding the application, the machine, and the process — then engineering the right solution.
Cutting tools. Fixturing. Complete production solutions. That’s been the JPT way since 1971. No catalogs. No guessing. Just engineering.
